Creatives Inspiring Creatives: A Judd Apatow Art Show

A recent exhibition "A Tribute to Judd Apatow" challenged creatives to make work about their creative hero.

We've seen artists create an homage to comedians before, but a recent exhibition "A Tribute to Judd Apatow" opening December 4 at Gallery 1988, is one of the more exciting examples of creatives inspiring other creatives that we've seen in a while. Perhaps that's just because we're fans of 40-Year-Old-Virgin, Anchorman, Freaks and Geeks, and Girls, all fodder for the variety of artwork that will be on view. Apatow himself will host the opening of the show, which features work by, among others, Anthony Petrie, Jon DeFrees, Dave Quiggle, and Jude Buffum (whose work is displayed below in order of appearance).

Now for your challenge: Make a work about your creative hero and Tweet the image to @GOOD.
