Not all dreams come true in the way you expect. When 25-year-old Isoh graduated high school, she made a sacrifice that all too many young women in Indonesia make. To help her family afford to send her brother to college, Isoh gave up her own ambitions to further her education.
Instead, she went to work at the local garment factory. Several years later, with the help of GAP Inc.’s P.A.C.E. (Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement) program, Isoh earned a second chance at her childhood goal of becoming a teacher. Now, as a P.A.C.E. instructor, she helps empower other female workers with both the technical and life skills needed to unleash their potential.
Watch and share her story to join GOOD + Gap in celebrating true tales of women bringing us one stitch closer to a brighter tomorrow. #WomenInspire
