In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the U.S. National Park Service, National Geographic will be exploring the power of parks throughout 2016. To help commemorate the anniversary, photographer Stephen Wilkes shot thousands of photos to create stunning day-to-night composite photos of several parks. The slideshow above showcases some of Wilkes’ best images from the shoot.
