Inspired by the Apps for Healthy Kids competition, part of the First Lady's Let's Move campaign, we teamed up with the White House Blog yesterday on Twitter and Facebook, and we asked our friends: What healthy kid app would you design? We ask a question to our Twitter and Facebook faithful once a day, so if you're not yet following @GOOD or a fan, make sure to sign up and participate in the conversation.

Here is what our Twitter friends said:

And here is what our Facebook buddies had to say:

And here is what our GOOD readers had to say:

Check out some of the responses the White House received on their blog. Let us know what type of app you would like to see help combat childhood obesity and teach children about health.

And if you are interested in designing an app, here's a more on the contest: "Apps for Healthy Kids challenges software developers, game designers, students, and other innovators to develop fun and engaging tools and games that drive children, especially "tweens" (ages 9-12)–directly or through their parents–to eat better and be more physically active."
