Tonight at GOOD December, we're presenting a "Dead Author Reading" with our friends from 826 L.A. The 826 L.A. Echo Park Time Travel Mart has arranged for dead author O. Henry to visit the GOOD Space for a reading and discussion of his short story "The Gift of the Magi". Plus musical guests Garfunkel and Oates.

Also, a very special thanks to the 300 guests who came out with such spirit for the launch party last night. A few of the many highlights included mapping LA, DJ Jason Eldredge on decks from KCRW, and amazing catering by Akasha.
Don't forget to swing by this weekend for the Local World's Fair (free and open to the public, 12 p.m.-5 p.m., both Saturday and Sunday).
There is also a screening on Sunday evening at 7.30pm of Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story, followed by a Q & A with award winning director Stefan Forbes. RSVP at http://www.good.is/events/decboogie.
