On Tuesday, an underground pipeline ruptured in southern Michigan. In total, it has poured 19,048 barrels of oil into Tallmadge Creek. For context, that is only 32 percent of the oil that spilled into the Gulf of Mexico every day before the Deepwater Horizon well was shut in.
