lifegaurdheaderOne year ago, we launched a weekly series called the Picture Show with a simple goal: to offer visual explorations of the world through individual lenses. The results have been astounding. Ranging from from the hilarious to the breathtaking, our weekly Picture Show installments have covered everything thing from the contents of strangers' refrigerators to white heat of an afternoon in Dubai. As the year draws to a close, we're proud to offer this look back at some of the most intriguing images of 2009.
