ThruYOU Harnesses the Rhythm of Crowds

  • Posted by: Andrew Price

The musician Kutiman has mixed great snippets of found video and audio from the YouTube wasteland into an amazing series of meta music videos. He’s calling the project ThruYOU.

At its best, the music he’s managed to create sounds every bit as impressive as a DJ Shadow track. Will trolling for bits of user-generated content online be the vinyl digging of tomorrow? Maybe. Regardless, hats off to Kutiman; thanks for the jams.

Thanks Neighborhoodist!
