transparency

  • Posted by: wass

I was a bit disappointed with the Sunni/Shia discussion in the transparency section this month. Although Americans tend to focus on the Middle East with regards to Islamic society, the graphic left out some of the largest and fastest growing Islamic countries- Namely Indonesia (the most populous muslim country in the world), India (which has more muslims than Pakistan) as well as other asian countries. In helping to educate people it is important to include data which makes people understand that this is not simply some regional phenomenon.
