Time Magazine gives the full treatment to Ford C.E.O. Bill Ford. Ford continues to impress by trumpeting the necessity for a more energy-conscious auto industry.
In a bout of incredibly poor timing, this profile, entitled "Can This Man Save the Auto Industry" hits the web the same day Ford announces it will cut 30,000 American jobs, which seems to be a curious way to begin saving the auto industry.
On the bright side, Ford's problems allegedly stem from a lack of consumer interest in SUV's, which might mean Bill Ford is on to something. Sadly, there are about 30,000 people who wont be buying a new Ford hybrid any time soon.
