Wrangler—the preferred jean of Brett Favre, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and most of the country—is now the preferred jean of existential contemplation. At least, that’s what its new ad campaign suggests. How did this thing get a green light? Why is the narrator French? Why does it recall the sort of short that would screen during an episode of Mike Myers’s “Sprockets” skits from Saturday Night Live?
