12 Days of Architecture: Breaking Ground on Six African Projects

This summer, Architecture for Humanity started six new projects in Africa through the Football for Hope program.

We're up to day seven in Architecture for Humanity's homage to one of our favorite holiday tunes, where we're sharing 12 our of favorite programs from 2012. In place of six geese-a-laying, here are six African projects in the Football for Hope program.
In July, six Football for Hope projects broke ground almost simultaneously, prompting a race to completion by Spring 2013. Each design fellow in the field directed their designs through local materials, customs and builders to deliver save spaces of play, health and learning for developing youth around the African continent.
