The first one, with its fact-checking feature, is kind of appealing to me, and it's undeniably fun to imagine how technology might change the reading experience. That said, what I actually want right now, much more than a Book of the Future with new "informational layers" and a social recommendation system, is simply more time to read the books of the present.
