B-Cycle, America's First Real Bike-Sharing System, Launches Today

by Andrew Price

April 24, 2010
B-Cycle, the bike sharing company that I first mentioned last May, is up and running in Denver today with 360 bikes and 40 stations. This is America's first full-scale bike-sharing system. To see how it works, check this GOOD video about B-Cycle. On their website you can see a real-time map of where the Denver stations are and how many bikes each has. You can lobby to get your town considered for a B-Cycle program here.
