There aren't many things that make me wish I was a 7 year old again, but this new project by Segway inventor Dean Kamen's nonprofit FIRST kind of gave me the itch: Thanks to a new partnership with MIT, the organization hopes to inspire K-12 kids to pursue science, technology, and engineering through...an afterschool robotics program . If that doesn't get kids excited, what will?FIRST has already seen some success in this arena, and if this pilot proves successful and popular among kids (a no-brainer), they plan to expand the program globally.
