The Supreme Court heard arguments yesterday about whether the three-drug cocktail that's used in lethal injection executions might cause an agonizing death. Executions are on hold nationwide until they figure this out, and Scalia's getting anxious. Incidentally, it's illegal to euthanize animals with the method in question. Just one of those funny things about the law.
