You remember Farm Aid, with those awesome mid-80s concerts featuring Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp (and many more). Well, despite Africa replacing America's farmers as the cause du decade, Farm Aid is still going strong, and has raised $30 million since its inception. For our New York readers, we're doing a little Farm Aid celebration of our own this Sunday (August 26th) at The Yard at 3PM. It's a BBQ. There will be good food and awesome music. DJ Steve Aoki will be on decks, with iive performances by: The Press, Trouble, She Keeps Bees, Alana Amram, and the Rough Gems. Tickets are $10 at the door, or you can buy them here.
