Jerri Chou combined her skills in social innovation with her passion for the future of business and creativity to co-found three startups:
The Feast Social Innovation Conference, TBD, and
All Day Buffet, a “social awareness brand for the cool kids,” is bringing like-minded people together into action. Chou is also head strategist at
Lovely Day, which aims to build socially valuable businesses.
With advertising experience earned during her time at Grey Worldwide, and skills learned from working with several New York startups, Chou has done everything from writing to web development.
In 2013, Chou’s focus is on growing The Feast, where people host a dinner,
pick a challenge and, after eating, commit to a solution that tackles it.
“From world-leaders to kids around the dinner table, we're bringing people together to create solutions to some of the world's greatest challenges and to spread a dialogue around social innovation to a wider audience than ever before,” Chou says. “There's a lot in the works, including bigger bolder challenges, unique perspectives, more experiential spaces, and more accessible formats to bring together the social innovation community, new and old, like never before.”
While The Feast’s big event is on October 18, keep an eye out for announcements and smaller initiatives throughout the year.
