Since 1995, the White House has been forced to disclose the salaries of its staffers to Congress. This year, in a rare display of actual transparency instead of just talking about transparency before finding it too difficult to actually implement, the Obama administration has released a searchable database of their salaries to the public. You can see the whole database below.Twenty three members of the White House staff-including 27-year old boy genius speech writer Jon Favreau-make $172,200, the maximum amount possible. A much larger contingent make $40,000 or less. I guess no one has told the White House about the socialist wealth distribution plan they're supposed to be espousing, because they're certainly not enacting it at home. If you know anyone who works at the White House, now you know how much they make. Use that information wisely.
