The spirit of John Lennon is conjured to comfort mourners in France.
Following the horrific attacks in Paris this past Friday, musician Davide Martello (also known as Klavierkunst) grabbed his piano and travelled 400 miles from his home in Germany to perform this heartbreakingly beautiful version of John Lennon's “Imagine” to mourning Parisians outside of the Bataclan concert hall.
“I just knew I had to do something,” the 34-year-old instrumentalist told The Guardian. “I wanted to be there to try to comfort, and offer a sign of hope.”
