One Block Off the Grid, the solar community program we featured in The GOOD 100 back in 2009, has put together an infographic that not only ranks each state's energy policy, but also lists something—from PhDs to teen pregnancies—that it has or produces more of than its forty-nine rivals. It turns out that everywhere is the best at something—but that something is not necessarily what you'd expect. Who knew that North Carolina produces 40 percent of the annual U.S. sweet potato crop?
