More Race to the Top Handicapping

There's another set of predictions about which states are most likely to walk away with government money in the Race to the Top over at Education Week's State EdWatch blog. Comparing them to the rankings offered in the City Journal piece that we blogged about yesterday, things are looking pretty good for Florida, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

But, beyond those three, there is vast disagreement, with State EdWatch liking the chances of Massachusetts and Illinois. (Thomas W. Carroll, who wrote the piece in City Journal, like Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, and Michigan-which we previously noted was going gonzo in an attempt to secure funds.)

This is almost as addictive as the mock drafts taking place in the run-up to the NFL draft. Almost.
