Tonight from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Seattle-based gallery Blank Space will play host to a fantastic evening of design and festivity: Red White and Pie. More information after the jump. From Blank Space:"Red White and Pie will be the political art event of the season. This exhibit will feature a wide range of graphic political art. There will be prints on display by Shepard Fairey, the designer known for the Obey campaign, AIGA 2008 Get out the Vote posters, and prints from local design superstars Modern Dog. Red White and Pie embodies the philosophy that designers have a responsibility to create meaningful communication. It also features a whopping amount of fresh baked pie-because not everyone likes politics. Everyone loves pie."The event is made possible in part by the Washington ACLU, whose Voting Rights Restoration project will be there to provide information and action opportunities. We'll be there, too: our first four GOOD Sheets will be displayed beside some of the aforementioned work.
