Granted: A number of sites have already covered this weekend's release of the graphic artist Space Coyote's anime-style "Simpsons" renderings (ABC News via Digg).
Granted: We've already mentioned Springfield's first family today in regard to last night's global warming quips.
And granted: Space Coyote herself has already uttered a reaction to the attention her work has garnered, that being:
"Good lord. I went to sleep and when I woke up in the morning, my Simpsonzu pic had EXPLODED..."
Nevertheless, this image is too strangely fascinating (and far better than SC's Futurama rendering) to omit from this blog. For the sake of posterity, here's the original image from which the chaos has ensued.
