"To be able to read is the most wonderful thing ever."

Feeling too busy to read? Tell that to 12-year old South Bronx sixth grader Neveah Mosher. In 2012 she read 325 books. In this HooplaHa produced video, Mosher—partial to "thick chapter books"—says "to be able to read is the most wonderful thing ever."

Mosher's on track to repeat her literary feat this year, too, and she hopes to be the first person in her family to go to college. In the video, you can see her being tutored by a City Year corps member, so it's nice to know that along with her classroom teachers there's extra tutoring and mentoring support to get her there. As for the rest of us, we'd better get cracking if we're going to get anywhere close to finishing 325 books before December 31st.
