Alarmists, nuclear enthusiasts, those with questionable taste in diversions, and fans of Google maps, listen up: this site will estimate the blast radius of a nuclear weapon focused on any address you select. You can choose from a variety of real-world weapons (everything from "Little Boy" to "Tsar Bomba," a 50 megaton Russian bomb that produced the largest explosion in history) and then hit the "Nuke It!" button to see the devastation. We illustrated something similar with this educational video, but with animation and a better soundtrack. Lest I be accused of flash and not substance, here is a legitimately educational infographic about nuclear proliferation, and a really fascating story about a truck driver-cum-atomic bomb expert. Consider yourself informed.(Via BuzzFeed.)
