Every year, billions of photos are uploaded to Flickr, so the shots that make it to their yearly best-of list are usually spectacular. According to Flickr, “These images represent the most beautiful, dynamic, and engaging photography from our global community. We’ve compiled this list based on a number of engagement and community factors.” The shot that took first place is CRS-4 by SpaceX Photos. SpaceX is one of the first Flickr accounts to designate its images as public domain, making them free for all the world to use in perpetuity.
