If Radiohead Can Do It, So Can We

  • Posted by: GOOD

Yup. Pick your price. Pay what you want: a dollar or more. It all goes to charity. And you get GOOD for a year (a subscription was $20 before).

Our goal is to create a collaborative community of individuals, businesses, and non-profits. We feel that the content is the invitation into this community and we didn’t want to make the invitation too expensive. We thought about what we like and respect, and we decided that what Radiohead did meshed with where our heads are at. So meet the new model for GOOD. Hopefully this is an invitation you’ll accept. Hopefully you’ll find content that turns you on, people who share your mindset, and tools that help you live the valuable life however you see it.

Check back for a follow-up. We’ll update you on how this is working out on October 22.

This is amazing—a truly innovative approach for your publication.  Thank you GOOD for taking this bold initiative that allows virtually all humans throughout the world to afford this groundbreaking publication.  The ‘equal-opportunity’ model is a fantastic, proactive way to combat the increasing economic disparity between ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’ both in our country and throughout the globe.  May your success, as both a magazine and an enabler of many things “good” continue.

This is a great way to get readers, I probably wouldn’t have ever run into your magazine if it wasn’t for this promotion.  And you look like some good guys.  You have piqued my interests.

this is a totally awesome idea…and being a student, i can’t always justify a magazine subscription.  but obviously now i can!  until i have some sort of income, and can contribute to Good at a more generous level, i love the fact that  i can stay up to date and feel part of this awesome network of individuals.

I first heard about this website and magazine after hearing about it on Public Radio’s “Speaking of Faith.” I love the concept, and am all on board to learn more about Good! I love the magazine. Very well written and designed. Look forward to a good relationship with Good.

If you donate all the money, where does the cash come from to design, print and mail the magazines?
