On Currency

How much does your morning cup of coffee cost in other countries? We look at the cost of a single 12 oz. Starbucks latte in world currencies, relative to the value of the U.S. dollar.

    Thanks but how does one read the small, fuzzy, colored type in the signs? Typed words would not have hurt.

    The dollar may be declining in value, but it still buys more that Europeans can with their overvalued currency.

    i honestly was more confused after looking at this. and the extra info there about japan and peru—no idea how to relate that based on the given info.i think i get that it’s trying to say that we’re still living the good life becuase (a) our dollar isn’t that inflated and (b) we can actually buy stuff with it?

    Psst… Right now, one dollar is three nuevos soles. That means that 1 latte costs S/. 7.50… and, if my memory isn’t failing, there’s no 7.50-soles latte around here…Greetings from Peru
