The hook is that in the coming decades, infrastructure will be getting trillions of public and private investment dollars, and it stands to reason that's going to mean lots of companies will need to start staffing up.Here's a sampling of the best(-paid) gigs out there:Urban Designer - $35,000 to $150,000+What they do: Design complex public spaces. The job is a hybrid discipline of architecture and urban planning, with the aim of creating balanced and livable cities, towns, and neighborhoods. Nuclear engineer - $60,000 to $100,000+What they do: Nuclear engineers do a wide range of things, but these days much of the field is focused on the design, maintenance and operation of civilian nuclear power plants. Process Piping Designer – $60,000 to $80,000 What they do: Design the complex plumbing systems that lie at the heart of a petrochemical plant.This is hardly babysitting money.
