Virgin America Is Offering a Free Trip to Space for One Frequent Flier

When creating a contest to drive consumers to spend more with your company, it's important to have a great prize. And not just a great prize, but a unique prize—a prize that they can only get by participating in the contest. 

So, hey, how about a trip into space? 

Virgin America is telling travelers to fly with them as much as possible between now and August of next year, because the person who logs the most miles will win a Virgin Galactic suborbital space flight. 

Me? I'm just working toward that tenth sandwich. The 11th is free!
