As if Dubai wasn't already chock-full of architectural superlatives, the city has decided to tack the world's largest and tallest spanning bridge to its list.
Joining Tom Wright's 1,053-ft. luxurious Burj Al Arab (the world's tallest hotel), Adrian's Smith's 2,684-ft. Burj Dubai (the tallest thing man has ever made), and several other futuristic mega-structures, FXFOWLE's design will shuttle twelve lanes of traffic across a one-mile span of Dubai Creek and reach 670 feet into the sky.
Construction begins in March with a slated completion date of 2012.
