The Elton John AIDS Foundation's Photography Portfolio II is a collection of ten prints, the proceeds of which will go to fund underserved communities
Over the weekend World AIDS Day was commemorated. To coincide with this day of awareness, The Elton John AIDS Foundation launched their Photography Portfolio II, a collection of ten prints by some of the most celebrated photographers working today. The proceeds of the sale of the photos will help fund underserved communities in the U.S., the Americas and the Caribbean, for urgently needed "front-line HIV prevention programs."
Not only for a good cause, the images are beautiful and each tells its own story. Photographers Tina Barney, Rineke Dijkstra, Elger Esser, Candida Höfer, Chen Jiagang, David LaChapelle, Alex Prager, Ed Ruscha, Hedi Slimane, and Frank Thiel. Below is a selection of images, and more information on The Elton John AIDS Foundation is available here.
