Check out the hilarious trailer for Fire From the Heartland: The Reawakening of the Conservative Woman, about women in the conservative movement.
Citizens United (you may remember them from the movie about Hilary Clinton that resulted in the Supreme Court case that now allows corporations to donate money to political candidates) is coming out with a new movie, Fire From the Heartland: The Reawakening of the Conservative Woman, about the the role of the fairer sex in the conservative movement:
This is heavy-handed conservative trailer 101: over-the-top scary music, what appears to be a brief cut scene of a man getting robbed at 1:27 (because crime is so bad these days), and scenes of conservative women angrily calling out the Obama administration.
Comments on the facts that nearly all the conservative women featured are tall, leggy, and sexy; talking about "reclaiming their femininity"; and that the film is about their "reawakening," I will leave to those more qualified. I am interested only in their ideas.
