Winner Announced: GOOD Reader's Favorite Trees

GOOD community members picked a photo of a seedling in Port Au Prince, Haiti as the winner of our Crowdsourced Picture Show About Trees.

Each month we ask the GOOD community to help us create a Picture Show. During October, we asked for pictures of trees. Even though the submissions came from all over the globes, the photos all seemed to capture the intrinsic beauty of the natural world. See for yourself in our Picture Show.

We’re happy to announce our winner, Shannon Hannon. Her photo of the seedling breaking through the cracked ground in Port Au Prince captured the GOOD community’s belief in hope for Haiti.

The winner will receive a GOOD T-shirt and a free subscription (or gift subscription) to our magazine and her photo will be published in the next issue of GOOD.

Thanks again to everyone for submitting photos and voting on their favorites! Keep tuned for a new project coming soon.
