Friday, September 17th, 2010: Park(ing) Day, the annual celebration that sees people turn parking spaces into temporary parks—thereby transforming our car-centric streets and cities into places that put people first—went off today in cities around the world. We scoured the internet for photographic evidence of inventive celebrations, and the internet didn't disappoint. Here's a look at some of our favorites.

Life can be incredibly stressful and overwhelm a person with anxiety, stress, and burnout. It could come in the form of an argument with your kids, an unforeseen bill, dealing with a bad boss, or anything else. You don’t want to burden your friends with constant moaning about your life’s troubles, but it can get to the point where you just want to scream. If that sounds like you, join the club. No, seriously, you can join a literal screaming club.

A new trend is emerging worldwide, from Austin to Chicago to London and beyond. Meet up with others who are also having a rough time and scream as loudly as you can. These are called “screaming clubs,” and they’re forming new chapters in various communities to meet weekly to monthly, so locals can give a loud, cathartic scream together in public. Even if the screaming itself doesn’t solve a person’s problems, it seems to be bringing people together to make new friends who are also having a tough time.

His primary role was maintaining a fleet of cars, a job that involved a mix of tasks with varying time commitments—from quick fixes and supply runs to thorough, 45-minute hand washes for each vehicle. The job came with flexible hours, a system that worked perfectly for the task-based nature of the work. On some days, he might finish a final car wash and stay 15 minutes late; on others, he’d wrap up early and head home.

Tiny Tucker was diagnosed with dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB), a rare skin condition that makes even the most gentle touch painful. In fact, when he was born, he was missing skin on his feet, hands, lips, and chest. Not only is Tucker fighting DEB, but he was also diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, a terminal heart condition. After weeks of treatment, Tucker was sent home to enjoy the time he has left with his parents and family.

The incident, originally reported by CNN, involved Jarrid Tansey, a delivery driver for Palace Pizza, and the staff at F&R Auto Sales, a car dealership in Westport, Massachusetts. Tansey delivered a $42 order and was paid with $50. Assuming the extra money was a tip, he left. However, he soon received a call from the dealership demanding he drive back to return the $7 and change.
