Beard Today, Goatee Tomorrow

  • Posted by: Patrick James

John Dyer has dedicated plenty of blog-space to beards. And why shouldn’t he? Beards are the best things that men can grow. Like most real men, John grows a robust beard each winter. Each spring when it’s time to shave, he tries to see how many facial hair variants he can achieve—Van Dykes, handlebars, etc.—using this beard chart as his guide. You’ll notice that he doesn’t plan to attempt a toothbrush mustache, which Charlie Chaplin made famous, and which one person of lesser esteem made forever unwearable. Unless, that is, you’re the former president of Ecuador.
