Day 28: Document Someone Who Helped You #30DaysofGOOD

Get your cameras ready. For November's challenge, we're asking you to document your life, from giving thanks to someone who helped you.

Welcome to The GOOD 30-Day Challenge (#30DaysofGOOD). Each month, we challenge ourselves to improve the world around us—and our own lives. The challenge for November? To document your life. In an effort to help us all rise to the occasion, each morning, we will post a daily mini-challenge on GOOD.is and Twitter, along with a testimonial from someone on the GOOD team who's already completed it. We invite you to complete all 30 mini-challenges and share them with us on Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr.

Today's challenge: Document someone who helped you. Above, Elisa Huang submits an image of a helpful colleague.

This is a picture of my coworker Lawrence. On a recent morning, a few of us staffers came to work early, but the office was locked tight. We sat in the driveway for about 20 minutes because none of us had the keys. Two minutes before I was due to make an important conference call, Lawrence arrived with keys and let us in right away. As it happened, that day was Lawrence's last in our L.A. office, so later in the evening I was able to get a picture of him at his goodbye party, swatting a giant basketball pinata blindfolded by a GOOD t-shirt.

See submissions from yesterday's challenge, document Sunday morning.

Tomorrow's challenge: Document someone you admire.

Ready, set, go take a picture! Good luck completing today's challenge. Once you've snapped a shot, be sure to share it with us on Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook by using the hashtag #30DaysofGOOD. We will then post a roundup of your images the next day.
