I love the idea of guerrilla gardening: subversively reclaiming the forgotten pockets of fertility in urban landscapes for the purposes of restoring pastoralism. (We've talked about horticulture jamming before.) Now, the traditionalists among you might scoff at the commercialization of the practice, but I love these pre-packaged "seed bombs"-a tiny, grenade-like ball of soil and seeds designed to be tossed out of moving cars into arid soil-of midwest wildflowers.
