The Telegraph has a list of 50 things that are being destroyed by the Internet. Some of them-like music stores-are kind of obvious. But to think we're also losing things like memory (#13) and the art of polite disagreement (#1), is a little disconcerting.

And some choices just seem wrong. Number 16 on the list is "Hoaxes and conspiracy theories." I think the "birthers" and the 9-11 truth movement have demonstrated that the Internet often just helps conspiracy theorists connect-and without authoritative reference works (#18) it's harder to debunk them conclusively.
