    An interesting sidenote to this is this map (via Kottke) that shows the travel time to a major city from any place on earth, as well as the major shipping lanes.

    A truly informative map/informational piece. I think it’s a great macro-informational piece, I would be curious to see micro-informational pieces for various countries, especially the ones which are gaining in population. Where are these people migrating to? I assume large cities, if so which ones? Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I should buy real estate then? :)
