Who’s Reading The Newspaper

The Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune are bankrupt. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is looking for a buyer. Rumors are swirling around the Miami Herald. Predicting the demise of The New York Times is a new trend. Why are newspapers in such bad shape? We took a look at the 75 newspapers in the country with the largest circulations, as compared to the populations of the cities they are supposed to serve. Many are not reaching all the readers that they should be reaching.
