Check Out the Most Typical Face in the World

According to the data used in National Geographic's  new video, "7 Billion: Are You Typical?," the most typical person in the world is now a 28-year-old Chinese man, of which there are nine million. Using that as a starting point, researchers then compiled and averaged out 190,000 photographs of 28-year-old Chinese men in order to produce the image above, what National Geographic is calling "the most typical face in the world."

Remember, China's economy isn't nearly as strong as many people think, and America isn't in danger of being eclipsed by the Chinese anytime soon. But the sheer size of the nation, and the sheer size of its population, is remarkable, and worth noting.
