This Guy Is Walking the Entire Length of the Proposed Keystone XL Pipeline
I'm not sure there's a whole lot that I find cooler than walking the entire length of the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline, through enormous swaths of the middle of the United States, documenting it and learning about the country along the way.
This is the mission of Ken Ilgunas, whose blog is pretty awesome.
So far, he's:
- been charged by a moose
- been accused of letting a dog out in Petersburg, Nebraska, where "We don't got no crooks"
- talked with Nebraskan opposition to the pipeline
Here's another video from one of his Montana posts:
Probably a bit more scenic than being inside the pipe.
