The 2010 list season is upon us, and on Sunday, the Los Angeles Times made use of the catchy 10/10/10 date to kick it off. They listed the 10 best “best-of” books of 2010 (which means one 10 got left out, right? But never mind). There’s some fun ones on the list that I didn’t know existed and want to read, specifically The Best American Nonrequired Reading 2010 by Dave Eggers and an 826 student, and I always enjoy The Best Food Writing series. I also think it’s interesting that there’s a best-of-web book, though I don’t know that that’s going to be on my reading list any time soon.
