Anaconda!

Calm down, everybody, we’re not talking about the B horror movie starring Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube and Jon Voight—The Anaconda of interest here is a giant floating tube that could serve as the world’s next solution to the energy crisis. Maybe.

These 200-meter plastic snakes anchored to the ocean floor bob up and down, harnessing wave energy by pushing water through an internal turbine to generate electricity. They’re sort hypnotic to watch and, inevitably, somewhat obscene. See video:
