The distinctive Swedish retailer offers more than just meatballs, herring, and lingonberry jam. Ikea has come out with a cookbook, Hembakat är Bäst (Homemade is Best) that contains 30 basic recipes for things like vanilijhorn, mondelmussla, and pepperkakor. The cookbook doesn't include much text. Instead, the ingredients are laid out on a flat surface and photographed overhead with the spare, minimalist sensibility that the brand is known for. The book is apparently being given away in Sweden.
