The community of philosophers and scientists over at Edge.org have published the answers to their big question for 2009: "What will change everything?" The question, of course, presumes that something will change everything (whatever that means), but it's a suitably grandiose and open-ended prompt for a group respondents that includes Kevin Kelly, Steven Pinker, Brian Eno, Alan Alda, Richard Dawkins, and Daniel Dennett (seen here looking like Santa on vacation).
