Today the Senate approved a bill that offers what's being called a "broad overhaul" of existing federal student loan programs. Even with a demonstrative 79-12 vote, there's plenty of naysaying this afternoon. And there's still the chance of a presidential veto. Nevertheless, it's nice to see someone (or some party) make good on a campaign promise from time to time. Link.
