That’s a stretch, even for Sarah Palin.
Sarah Palin has been well known for making memorable statements ever since she was the Republican vice-presidential nominee back in 2008. Her comments today, however, might take the cake. While making a campaign appearance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, her first since endorsing Donald Trump for president, she appeared to place the blame for her son’s recent domestic violence arrest on President Obama and PTSD.
“My son, like so many others, they come back a bit different. They come back hardened, they come back wondering if there’s that respect for what it is their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military have so sacrificially given to this country,” Palin said.
She then seemed to blame Obama for how veterans are treated after returning home from war and implied that he was in some way responsible for her son’s actions.
